HACKNEY SHORTCUTS

Hackney Shortcuts is a short film competition, which aims to celebrate some of the best filmmaking talent in The London Borough of Hackney.

This year, the chosen films on the Hackney Shortcuts competition will be showcased at the Hackney Empire Theatre in The Bullion Rooms on Thursday 21st July as part of The Spice Festival (a two week long festival of the arts).

The event is organised by Tractor Films which is predominantly a film and video production company based in East London. Tractor has a commitment to making strong drama. They have made a slate of successful films in and around Hackney and Tower Hamlets over the last four years which have been well received at national and international film festivals.
