ACCELERATED SUCCESS
FOR NEW DESIGNERS

Michelle Mason, Project Manager at Accelerator, London Metropolitan University's pilot project for creative businesses, has organised a two-day design event to coincide with the London Design Festival at the end of September.
The focus of the showcase is product and furniture design and will highlight innovative work from ten of London’s emerging design businesses.
The event will take place in the impressive Shoreditch Building, designed by the award winning Hampshire County Architects, suitably located within London’s creative east end as well as a prime opportunity for the designers taking part.
During the two-day event there will be talks by industry specialists including a presentation on developing a product performance specification and design for manufacture. Furniture Works are also contributing to the event and the featured designers have come through various channels including Accelerator's links with Hidden Art and Flaunt Creative.
