Who I Am And What I Want
Written and Directed by Chris Shepherd and David Shrigley and produced by Maria Manton.

This unique, weird, poignant, wicked and darkly funny short film is based on a book by David Shrigley. Narrated by social outcast, Pete, voiced by Kevin Eldon [Nighty Night / Jam / Big Train etc], who bares all to tell us his life story: birth, shit-hovelling jobs, drink, medication, self ostraciation in the woods and all. Pete shares his deepest and darkest wishes, fears and thoughts. Pete says he knows "that some of the things that I did were wrong and evil, but I'm certain that I didn't actually do a lot of the things they said I did".

This highly collectible limited edition DVD single comes with an exclusive illustrated book by David Shrigley. Shrigley is best known for his illustrations, art and sculptures, which have been exhibited throughout the world in 24 solo shows including London Underground and Beck's Futures, and with more than 20 books of his drawings published.

Co-director Chris Shepherd's work has been nominated twice for the film BAFTA. His credits include adverts, title sequences, music videos, and the award winning Stareout sketches on BBC/Talkback's Big Train. He is co-founder of the London based film production company Slinky Pictures, with producer Maria Manton.
